Simply Legal is not a general recruitment consultancy. We know that the best way to service our clients and candidates is to specialize and do, simply, legal recruitment. This way, all of our energy and expertise is channeled into sourcing the top legal positions in New Zealand and overseas and providing clients and candidates with the best legal recruitment service possible.

At Simply Legal, we know that you are busy and that finding a job can be difficult and time-consuming. What we do is to make the placement process SIMPLE for you.

We will:

  • have a meeting with you to understand the type of role, organisation and location that you are interested in.
  • source the best jobs available and discuss with you those roles that suit you best.
  • approach the organisations you have chosen and guide you through the process from interview to successful placement.

Through this whole process, we keep you informed every step of the way, never doing anything that we have not spoken to you and had authorization from you about first.

We promise that the service is 100% confidential. We understand the level of trust that you are placing in us and we take this very seriously.

Above all, we like to take an informal but professional approach to this process. We want to get to know and enjoy dealing with the people who we are working on behalf of. Looking for a new job is stressful enough. We hope that we make it just a little less stressful for you!

Other services that we offer include:

  • CV Writing Advice. Your CV is one of the most crucial documents that you possess so it is imperative that it is as good as it can be. If you are not impressed by your CV, then no-one else will be.
  • Interview preparation. We will sit down and go through the do’s and don’ts of the interview process with you. It is hard enough to get an interview. We will try to make sure that you do not blow it when you get there.
  • Salary information. We have in-depth knowledge in this area and can tell you whether you are being adequately rewarded or whether it is time to ask for a pay rise!
  • General market information. Sometimes you may just want to have a general chat about the market. We love talking to people so if that is all that you want, then we will be more than happy to facilitate this.

To put it SIMPLY we take all of the hard work out of it, leaving you the time to do what you do best while we continue to do what we do best.

Simply Legal is not a consultancy that simply places lawyers and forgets about them. We want to build strong and long lasting relationships so that we may offer you ongoing advice as your career progresses. We want our candidates to believe that they are receiving the best service possible. If we are not providing this level of service, we would expect you to go elsewhere.
